Karl Johnsen has a track record of creating value and supporting organic and inorganic growth through transforming finance and accounting teams, scaling business processes, guiding business model transitions, and overseeing capital allocation. He has supported this growth in both public and private global technology companies with diverse business models. Throughout his career, his client-centric focus has helped create a seamless and satisfying client experience. He has built and led effective, diverse teams in high-growth environments, focusing on international expansion and material acquisitions.
Karl brings over 25 years of financial and operational experience to Intelerad, where he leads the legal, accounting, and finance teams. Prior to joining Intelerad, Karl was the CFO of Rightworks, a privately held provider of the only intelligent, purpose-built cloud for accounting professionals and firms. Before Rightworks, Karl held CFO roles at companies like Trax Retail and Aspen Technology (NASDAQ: AZPN), where he helped scale and build world-class finance functions. Karl holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Bentley University and an MBA from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business.
