Back in the 1990s, four college grads working in the medical imaging department of McGill University Health Center in Montreal, Canada, discovered a problem. Storing and sharing vital medical images was a tedious, manual process that resulted in lots of errors. They banded together with a vision to create more accessible imaging solutions. This vision became Intelerad, which pioneered cloud-based medical imaging.
As medical imaging processes have evolved, so has Intelerad. We’re always finding new ways to connect health systems and improve clinicians' workflows, acquiring and integrating products to create the most comprehensive, intuitive solution possible. Some of our acquisitions include Clario for workflow orchestration and worklist automation, Ambra for VNA and image sharing, and HeartIT for advanced cardio viewing.
