Blackford Workflow Server used to accelerate image comparison in InteleViewer™
Montreal, Canada & Edinburgh, UK – November 12, 2014 – Intelerad Medical Systems™, a leader in medical imaging PACS, RIS and workflow solutions, today announced that its partnership with Blackford Analysis has resulted in the successful incorporation of Blackford’s image comparison acceleration technology into its InteleViewer™ diagnostic viewer.
The successful integration was carried out using Blackford Workflow Server, a standalone pre-processing server that provides the ability to quickly and easily integrate Blackford’s productivity technology into informatics product offerings.

Blackford Workflow Server removes the need for back-end engineering to allow rapid integration with diagnostic viewers, such as InteleViewer. The server allows studies to be pre-processed automatically on acquisition and enables load balancing through deployment as a physical server, a virtual server or a service. Blackford Workflow Server is fully DICOM compliant and produces non-proprietary DICOM objects.
